The Operations Research Analyst (Internal Auditor) is tasked with assisting leadership teams in making a variety of business decisions by providing objective evaluations of company financial and operational business activities. They are employed to ensure the company follows proper procedures and functions efficiently, working to identify and understand any problems within business operations and offering suggestions on how business processes can be improved.

The Operations Research Analyst collects and analyzes data to evaluate operational difficulties and makes recommendations to solve problems. S/he follows established modeling and evaluation processes to determine the effectiveness of current operational activities and to determine problem areas and develop solutions. Also performs operational analysis to determine future business potential and development in target areas. Conducts research for the design of operational distribution and circulation in existing and new territories. Assists in the organizational development of a strong pipeline of new customers and projects in accounts through direct or indirect customer contact and prospecting.


The initial staff is expected to assume multiple roles while undertaking multiple responsibilities. Your duties may include:

  • Developing time and cost networks to plan, control, and review large projects.
  • Developing business methods and procedures, such as accounting systems, logistics systems, and production schedules.
  • Defining operational problems, developing methods to analyze the problem, and offering practical solutions.
  • Gathering input from workers or people with specialized knowledge who can assist in solving operational problems.
  • Collecting and analyzing data from current operation systems to develop decision support software.
  • Using statistical analysis or simulations to analyze information
  • Defining data requirements, and gathering and validating information
  • Applying judgment and statistical tests to devise problem-solving actions.
  • Developing mathematical models of potential and existing operational problems.
  • Performing tests to ensure the accuracy of the models.
  • Advising leadership teams on solutions and assisting with decision making.
  • Writing reports on findings and recommendations.
  • Respecting and maintaining the confidentiality and integrity of NEW HEIGHTS BMC.
  • Complying with and adhering to all NEW HEIGHTS BMC policies and procedures.
