The Advertising Sales Account Executive develops and maintains a visible presence throughout the whole business community. This is an incentive eligible position. Responsibilities include establishing the marketing and advertising sales of The RTC Directory. Account Executives will manage accounts for the sale of Menu Ad space to prospective restaurant and catering advertising clients, Ad Exposure to non-food advertisers, and Preferred Ads to corporate brand advertisers who desire to purchase advertising space in The RTC Directory & TheRTCDirectory.com.

The Advertising Sales AE is responsible for sales of The RTC Directory & TheRTCDirectory.com food promotions, daily coupons, and Business Marketing Systems which includes various marketing programs which features printable coupons, downloadable central coupons and digital coupons, as well as mobile blasts specifically for sponsorship advertising, branding campaigns, product marketing, event promoting and special offer announcements.

Responsibilities also includes assisting with identifying and coordinating product promotions, and implementing sales & marketing at conventions, festivals and various community events, as well as advertising and promoting the organization's products and services throughout the business community to develop new prospects for business partnering, uncovering potential partnering opportunities, identifying potential corporate sponsors, uncovering corporate sponsorship opportunities, developing and managing

partnering accounts and establishing a community presence to maximize the profits of the organization's sales. Sales often-times involves spending a great deal of time with advertising clients, inviting them for interviews and accompanying them to various events. Sales Account Executives must be very motivated, financially aware, and focused on beating sales targets.


The initial staff is expected to assume multiple roles while undertaking multiple responsibilities. Your duties may include:

  • Performing a variety of product promotional tasks.
  • Developing and managing advertising sales accounts.
  • Working with marketing, sales, and product development teams to implement business development initiatives.
  • Presenting communications programs that effectively describe and promote the organization and its products.
  • Uncovering potential business-to-business (B2B) advertising, marketing, joint-promotions, and partnering opportunities.
  • Developing and maintaining a visible presence throughout the entire business and advertising community.
  • Maintaining relationships and favorable contacts with current and potential advertising accounts.
  • Targeting potential advertising clients and developing relationships in order to acquire new advertising accounts.
  • Identifying potential advertising sales opportunities with corporate level brands.
  • Assisting with the implementation of community related content for the organization.
  • Identifying and helping to develop strategic relationships with partners or potential advertising customers.
  • Assist with researching, evaluating, and recommending enhancements to the market positioning of products or services.
  • Conducting market or public opinion research to assess program outcomes.
  • Suggesting promotional campaign ideas in various types of media.
  • Receiving counseling and guidance from management on effective advertising sales strategies.
  • Exemplifying knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within this particular field.
