POSITION SUMMARY: 

NEW HEIGHTS BMC MEDIA guides brands, businesses, agencies and start-ups through the concept and development of user-friendly advertising & marketing products, promotions, and strategies that highlight the uniqueness of each brand’s proposition.

AD AGENCY SALES EXECUTIVE

The Advertising Agency Sales Executive manages allocated advertising agencies – maintaining relationships and favorable contacts with all assigned ad agencies representing our targeted advertising restaurants, caterers, food & beverage manufacturers, as well as non-food businesses. The Ad Agency Sales Executive develops and maintains a visible presence and brand-name recognition throughout the whole advertising agency community, targeting ad agencies that may be representing potential client businesses and developing relationships in order to acquire new advertising accounts.

The Ad Agency Sales Executive responsibilities include establishing the marketing and advertising sales of The RTC Directory. The Ad Agency SE will manage advertising agency accounts for the sale of Menu Ad space to prospective restaurant and catering advertising clients, Ad Exposure to non-food advertisers, and Preferred Ads to corporate brand advertisers who desire to purchase advertising space in The RTC Directory & TheRTCDirectory.com.

The Ad Agency Sales Executive is also responsible for the sales of The RTC Directory & TheRTCDirectory.com food promotions, daily coupons, and Business Marketing Systems which includes various marketing programs which features printable coupons, downloadable central coupons and digital coupons, as well as mobile blasts specifically for sponsorship advertising, branding campaigns, product marketing, event promoting and special offer announcements.

Responsibilities also includes assisting with identifying and coordinating product promotions, and implementing sales & marketing at conventions, festivals and various community events, as well as advertising and promoting the organization's products and services throughout the business community to develop new prospects for business partnering, uncovering potential partnering opportunities, identifying potential corporate sponsors, uncovering corporate sponsorship opportunities, developing and managing

partnering accounts and establishing a community presence to maximize the profits of the organization's sales. Sales often-times involves spending a great deal of time with advertising clients, inviting them for interviews and accompanying them to various events. Ad Agency Sales Account Executives must be very motivated, financially aware, and focused on beating sales targets.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS (MAJOR DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES):

The initial staff is expected to assume multiple roles while undertaking multiple responsibilities. Your duties may include:

  • Performing a variety of product promotional tasks.
  • Receiving counseling and guidance from management on effective advertising sales strategies.
  • Uncovering potential business-to-business (B2B) advertising, marketing, joint-promotions, and partnering opportunities.
  • Developing and maintaining a visible presence and brand-name recognition throughout the whole ad agency community
  • Targeting and developing relationships with ad agencies to acquire new advertising accounts (potential advertising clients)
  • Developing and maintaining favorable relationships with ad agencies on behalf of represented client accounts.
  • Maintaining relationships and favorable contacts with current and potential advertising agency represented client accounts.
  • Assisting with the implementation of ad agency community related content for the organization.
  • Working with marketing, sales, and product development teams to implement business development initiatives.
  • Presenting communications programs that effectively describe and promote the organization and its products.
  • Suggesting promotional campaign ideas in various types of media.
  • Attending various assigned business meetings and events.
